Python Development Educational program design: a 6-week introduction to AI.
Week 1: What is AI? (Basics & Mindset)
AI, actually (it is not magic after all).
AI detection in day-to-day life (filter, searches, recommendations, chatbots, etc.).
Thinking modern AI How modern AI thinks (text, patterns, not reasonable thought as human beings).
Responsible use and bias, privacy and non-trust applications of AI.
Exercise: Use a fun AI chatbot (such as ChatGPT, Bing, or Gemini) to answer 5 simple questions (such as, e.g., Explain photosynthesis to a 10-year-old) in it.
Week 2: AI for Writing & Ideas
Basic prompting (How to talk to AI).
Immediate formulae: Role + Task + Format +Example.
Common tasks:
Summarize text
Make notes / bullet points
Write essentially in other tones (simple, formal) and also in a friendly tone.
Generate ideas (essays, videos, posts etc)
Activity:
Insert a brief piece of writing into an AI chat and make it summarize the same.
Request 5 Instagram post ideas on a subject of your preference.
Week 3: AI for Images & Design
AIImage generators (text-to-image) Introduction.
The components of good image prompts are good image, subject, style, lighting, mood.
Common uses:
Social media posts
Presentation backgrounds.
Simple graphics and memes
Limitations: AI is unable to come up with real individuals or straight-up photos.
Activity:
A free AI image generator (such as Bing Image Creator, Canva AI) will create 3 -4 images under a fake product or a story.
